About Workshops

What is a Science Venture workshop?

Two university students from the Science Venture team enter your classroom equipped with supplies, enthusiasm, and excitement for a jam-packed two-hour science, engineering, and technology workshop. These dynamic sessions consist of exciting demonstrations, interactive experiments, and hands-on activities.  Upon completion of the workshop, the class will have developed an excitement for science, engineering, and technology while interacting with positive university role models.

Designed to meet Learning Standards from the new BC Science Curriculum - we bring the field trip to you and introduce Big Ideas in a fun and engaging way!
