Micro/MINI/MEGA Makers

Tinker the week away in our maker camps.  Designed for the curious, who want to take apart objects, design new ideas, and build.  Explore the various areas of engineering through hands-on projects and inquiry. Micro, Mini, and Mega will also include computer science activities, unique to these camps.

CODEMAKERS: Minecraft Engineers

Eat. Sleep. Craft. Repeat. Get ready to experience Science Venture’s Maker Camps in a whole new way with Codemakers: Minecraft Engineers! Campers will design, explore, create, and code as they take on exciting engineering challenges inside the world of Minecraft. Youth will develop creative structures, test solutions to problems, and build new ideas one block at a time.

NOTE: Registration for this program will be run through Vikes Recreation

New Projects

To keep our programs innovative and fun, our team designs new projects every summer. This means returning campers will be assured a new experience. From engineering design challenges to computer aided design, activities are diverse to pique the interest of everyone.

Camp Cost

  • 5-day Camp Week: $350.00

  • 4-day Camp Week: $280.00

Cancellation Policy

Science Venture operates as a non-profit organization and incurs substantial fees for each cancellation. The later the cancellation, the harder it is for us to fill the spot with somebody on the waitlist. To offset these costs, our cancellation and transfer policy is as follows:

  • More than 7 business days before the program’s start date: 100% refund of program price, minus a $50 cancellation fee

  • 7 business days or less before the program’s start date: 50% refund of program price

  • After 9am the Friday before the program’s start date: no refund provided
